| This was the last game of the season for the Thorns and were hoping to finish on a high. As normal the home side got off to a slow start which the vistors took full advantage of and went into an early lead and won the first quarter 11-19. In the second quarter the Thorns woke up and and started to play some fine basketball with Chis Pearce in superb form and Chris Smith playing well inside, the home side took the 2nd quarter 29-15. In the 3rd quarter the Thorns reverted back to thier old ways and let the visitors back into the game, the home side tried to respond with Mike Bowker and Niall Johnson scoring well but this wasn't enough and the Thorns lost the quarter 13-20. In the final quarter the game was wide open 53-54 and it became end to end basketball with Ben Handley getting into the thick of it under both baskets. The lead changed time and time again with some good basketball from both sides. The game went right down to the wire but the home side lost the quarter 15-17 and the match 68-71.
