| Formed in 1976 as the old boys team from Thorncliffe School. The team participated in local leagues, England Central League and North West Counties. In 1998 with the opening of the Hoops Basketball Centre, the club began to recruit players from other schools including elsewhere within the country. With a total registration or approximately 140 players, the club is included in the top 10 clubs in the country by England Basketball for 2005 - 2006. |
